Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials and debris
- Pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and site-specific guidelines
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning
- Perform minor equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- Build positive relationships with clients and project managers
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with hazmat endorsement preferred
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Knowledge of Charlotte metro area and surrounding regions
- DOT medical certification and pre-employment drug screening required
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
