Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles on dedicated OTR routes across the Southeast
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain accurate driving logs
- Coordinate loading/unloading at client facilities with precision
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Uphold Elite Freight's safety and service standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations)
- Minimum 1 year OTR experience with dedicated routes preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
