Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials (dirt, gravel, asphalt) to job sites
- Perform daily pre-trip inspections and safety checks on company-provided equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each haul
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with site supervisors to ensure timely and accurate material delivery
- Assist with basic equipment maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly
- Maintain clean truck cab and equipment between shifts
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Minimum 2 years' experience operating dump trucks in construction or logistics
- Clean MVR with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in outdoor conditions
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues
- Strong commitment to safety and punctuality
