Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, debris, and aggregates to job sites
- Conduct pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, local traffic laws, and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatchers and site supervisors for efficient load/unload operations
- Secure and stabilize cargo during transport to prevent spills or damage
- Complete delivery documentation and digital reporting in a timely manner
- Perform minor on-site equipment troubleshooting and basic repairs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of commercial dump truck operation experience
- DOT medical certification and current TWIC card (if applicable)
- Familiarity with New Orleans metropolitan area routes and job sites
- Ability to pass mandatory drug screening and background check
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and outdoor work in Louisiana climate
- Basic equipment troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude
