Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport goods on dedicated regional routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload freight efficiently using appropriate equipment and techniques
- Manage delivery documentation and communicate with dispatch team
- Resolve delivery exceptions and provide exceptional customer service
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with all federal/state regulations
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of St. Louis metro area and surrounding regions
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to work flexible schedules including early mornings
- Basic computer skills for electronic logging and documentation
- Commitment to safety and professional conduct
