Responsibilities
- Operate box truck safely and efficiently for local/regional freight deliveries
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance to ensure DOT compliance
- Coordinate with dispatch for optimal routing and on-time deliveries
- Manage loading/unloading operations with professionalism and care
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs
- Build strong client relationships through reliable service
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years)
- Owned box truck (24-26ft) with current registration and insurance
- Minimum 2 years verifiable box truck experience
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Knowledge of Sacramento metro area routes
- Drug-free and willing to pass background check
