Responsibilities
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently throughout the Houston metropolitan area.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring packages are secure and protected from damage.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain electronic signatures upon completion.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior at all times.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and resolving delivery issues.
- Keep accurate logs of mileage, fuel, and delivery stops.
- Comply with all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License required.
- Clean driving record (no DUIs or major moving violations within the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Must have a reliable smartphone with a data plan for navigation and communication.
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation systems.
- Strong customer service skills with a professional demeanor.
