Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local and regional deliveries within a 200-mile radius
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each shipment
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and pickup/dropoff scheduling
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Manage inventory verification and secure cargo handling
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Reliable box truck (24-26ft) with current registration and insurance
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong time management and navigation skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for communication and tracking
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of Baltimore metro area and surrounding regions
