Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local and regional freight delivery
- Manage loading/unloading operations with warehouse teams
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance
- Optimize routes to meet delivery deadlines
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Portland metro area
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Reliable personal box truck (2005+ model)
- Commercial insurance ($1M liability)
