Responsibilities
- Transport students safely and punctually to and from school and designated stops.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in safe operating condition.
- Ensure the safety and behavior of all students while on board, maintaining a secure environment.
- Manage student loading and unloading efficiently during peak hours.
- Report any mechanical issues or incidents immediately to dispatch.
- Maintain a clean and orderly bus interior at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements.
- Minimum of 1 year of safe driving experience (commercial preferred).
- Clean driving record with no serious traffic violations.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Pass a comprehensive background check, drug screen, and physical exam.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
