Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles for weekend deliveries throughout San Diego County
- Execute time-sensitive freight transport with GPS route optimization
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for real-time load adjustments
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and local traffic laws
- Handle secure cargo transportation with proper sealing protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- HazMat endorsement preferred
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong knowledge of San Diego metro area geography
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday shifts)
- Pass background check and drug screening
