Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) safely on designated weekend routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR) to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using proper safety equipment and techniques.
- Maintain accurate Electronic Logging Device (ELD) records and all necessary paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with required endorsements.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (Medical Card) and DOT drug screen clearance.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and DOT safety regulations.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks associated with loading cargo.
