Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments
- Communicate with dispatch teams to optimize delivery schedules and troubleshoot delays
- Adhere to all federal and state transportation regulations (DOT/FMCSA)
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Represent the company professionally with excellent customer service
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A or B) or willingness to obtain one through our paid training program
- No prior experience required – we provide comprehensive CDL training
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for weight distribution and load planning
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights and weekends
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Must be at least 21 years of age
