Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Dry Van, Flatbed, or Tanker) in a safe and timely manner.
- Perform thorough daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR).
- Load and secure cargo according to safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while adhering to traffic laws and DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding route changes or delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR check).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, if necessary.
