Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 trucks for weekend deliveries within San Antonio metro area
- Pre-trip vehicle inspections and routine maintenance documentation
- Load/unload shipments using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records
- Adapt routes for traffic conditions while meeting delivery deadlines
- Communicate with dispatch team via electronic logging devices
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and company policies
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday shifts 6AM-6PM)
- Pass DOT physical and background screening
- Familiarity with San Antonio road networks
- Basic electronic device proficiency (ELD, GPS)
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
