Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A or B trucks on assigned routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to safety standards and weight limits.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic records (ELD) in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and issues.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the truck cab and cargo area.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B with required endorsements.
- Clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday shifts).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks required for loading/unloading.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
- Pass a background check and drug screen.
