Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and vans on designated local and regional delivery routes during night shifts.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently using proper lifting techniques.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and adhere to all DOT regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and route changes.
- Keep the vehicle interior and exterior clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with the required endorsements.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC).
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to work night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) consistently.
- Strong knowledge of road safety and traffic laws.
