Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages from distribution centers to residential and commercial addresses in a timely manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining a professional demeanor and ensuring packages are delivered with care.
- Inspect vehicle condition daily and report any mechanical issues to management immediately.
- Operate handheld devices for scanning packages, verifying addresses, and managing delivery status.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle at all times, ensuring a safe environment for both the driver and the cargo.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure the well-being of the community.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class C or higher) with a clean driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigating delivery routes and logging work.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as business demands.
- Reliable transportation to and from the distribution center.
