Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks on various routes throughout the Indianapolis area.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and status updates.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to traffic laws.
- Experience in flatbed or dry van operations is a plus but not required.
