Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van refrigerated) for weekend delivery routes
- Complete pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate trip logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route navigation
- Load/unload shipments with proper handling techniques
- Resolve delivery exceptions and communicate with clients professionally
- Maintain clean driving record and report maintenance needs promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Ohio roadways and DOT regulations
- Weekend availability (Friday-Sunday, 6am-6pm)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Excellent time management and communication abilities
