Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles (dry van/reefer) for weekend delivery routes
- Adhere to DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes using GPS systems while meeting tight delivery deadlines
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logs (ELD)
- Provide exceptional customer service during on-site deliveries
- Secure cargo and maintain vehicle cleanliness per company standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Ohio roadways and weather conditions
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening (required)
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Weekend availability with flexibility for early morning start times
- Basic computer literacy for ELD systems
