Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A/B commercial vehicles for regional deliveries within San Jose and Bay Area
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Plan optimal routes using GPS navigation to ensure on-time deliveries
- Handle paperwork including bills of lading, delivery receipts, and mileage reports
- Adhere to all DOT/FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate with dispatch team and clients regarding delivery status
- Maintain clean driving record with zero preventable accidents
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with HazMat endorsement preferred
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no DUIs, reckless driving, or major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Proficient in electronic logging devices (ELD) and route navigation systems
- Pass DOT physical examination and drug screening
- Weekend availability is mandatory (Saturday/Sunday shifts)
- Knowledge of Bay Area traffic patterns and delivery regulations
