Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently on local and regional routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo accurately, ensuring proper securement and documentation.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Provide exceptional customer service during pickups and deliveries.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding schedule changes.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination (Medical Card required).
- Ability to lift and handle cargo weighing up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a professional demeanor.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
- Basic computer literacy for paperwork entry.
