Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and vans, adhering to all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure cargo and equipment are secure.
- Deliver freight to designated locations on time and in the exact condition received.
- Manage electronic logging device (ELD) logs accurately and comply with Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any delays.
- Maintain a professional appearance and uphold the company's reputation.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or Class B with the appropriate endorsements.
- A clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- 21 years of age or older.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
