Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods across Charlotte metro area
- Perform pre-trip inspections and routine vehicle maintenance checks
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols at all times
- Efficiently manage delivery schedules and time-sensitive routes
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients
- Secure cargo and verify inventory upon delivery
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate manual transmissions
- Strong knowledge of Charlotte area roadways and traffic patterns
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday 6AM-6PM)
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Exceptional time management and organizational abilities
