Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods within Austin and surrounding areas
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Load/unload cargo efficiently with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, clients, and warehouse staff
- Handle unexpected route adjustments with proactive problem-solving
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Austin-area roadways and traffic patterns
- DOT medical certification and required endorsements
- Excellent time management and navigation skills
- Background check and drug screen clearance
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday shifts)
