Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B CDL) to transport goods across San Diego County
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules while maintaining timely weekend routes
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading as needed (non-touch freight)
- Report maintenance issues and coordinate vehicle servicing
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable truck driving experience
- Clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Knowledge of San Diego County roadways and traffic patterns
- Flexibility to work Saturdays and Sundays (6 AM - 6 PM)
- DOT medical certification and TWIC card preferred
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
