Responsibilities
- Safely deliver packages and cargo to designated addresses in Washington, DC, and surrounding areas on time and in perfect condition.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload merchandise efficiently, utilizing proper lifting techniques to prevent injury.
- Interact professionally with customers, handle cash/card payments accurately, and resolve delivery issues courteously.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (Class C or higher) with a clean driving record (no more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years).
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Strong time management skills and ability to navigate maps and GPS systems independently.
- Physical ability to lift boxes weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Basic English proficiency for communication purposes.
