Job Summary
As a Weekend Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of packages and cargo to our valued customers across Virginia Beach.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle in various weather conditions and traffic situations.
- Load and unload packages efficiently using dollies or hand trucks.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain signatures where necessary.
- Communicate with dispatch regarding delivery status and any delays.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
- Provide exceptional customer service and professional conduct at all times.
- Complete daily logs and paperwork accurately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Reliable smartphone with data access for GPS navigation.
- Willingness to work weekends and holidays as required.
