Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses within the designated route.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies while operating a delivery vehicle.
- Provide outstanding customer service by maintaining a professional demeanor and accurate communication.
- Inspect vehicle condition prior to and after each shift to ensure safety and report any maintenance needs.
- Handle package handling with care, ensuring items are delivered in the condition they were received.
- Collect payments or obtain signatures as required for COD or signed delivery orders.
- Update delivery status in the company’s mobile application in real-time.
Qualifications
- A valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no DUIs or major moving violations within the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Basic knowledge of navigation apps and GPS systems.
- Physically capable of lifting packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and a friendly, customer-centric attitude.
- Willingness to work weekends, including Saturdays and Sundays.
