Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses within the Seattle metropolitan area.
- Provide exceptional customer service, handling package inquiries and interactions with professionalism and courtesy.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the safety and reliability of the delivery vehicle.
- Collect payments or obtain necessary signatures for COD (Cash on Delivery) packages accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked delivery vehicle at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during every shift.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (Class C) with a clean driving record and no major violations.
- Ability to pass a background check and a pre-employment drug screen.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact positively with a diverse customer base.
- Basic knowledge of local Seattle streets, geography, and navigation tools.
- Physical ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Access to a reliable smartphone for dispatch updates, GPS, and communication.
