Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages to residential and commercial locations within San Jose and surrounding areas.
- Utilize the company's mobile application for real-time navigation, order updates, and proof of delivery.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and traffic laws to ensure the well-being of our team and customers.
- Provide professional and courteous customer service, handling package handling with care to prevent damage.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections to report any maintenance needs or safety issues immediately.
- Collect payments and process returns accurately at the end of each shift.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B or C Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required; Class C acceptable for local deliveries.
- Achieved or working toward a clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Strong proficiency with smartphone technology, GPS navigation apps, and tablet devices.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Reliable personal vehicle with valid insurance, registration, and gas card.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) during peak hours.
- Flexibility to work overtime or holidays during high-volume periods.
