Responsibilities
- Safe & Timely Deliveries: Transport packages to residential and commercial locations in Oakland, IL, ensuring they arrive safely and on time.
- Customer Interaction: Deliver friendly and professional service to every customer, handling signatures and inquiries with care.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine inspections of your vehicle to ensure it is clean, safe, and in good working order before each shift.
- Route Planning: Efficiently plan your route to maximize delivery time and minimize fuel costs.
- Proof of Delivery: Accurately complete all necessary paperwork and digital logs for every delivery.
- Adherence to Safety: Follow all traffic laws, company safety policies, and local regulations while driving.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License: A valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Weekend Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a consistent basis.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Vehicle: Reliable personal vehicle suitable for local delivery (minimum 4-cylinder engine).
- Smartphone: Ability to use a smartphone for navigation, scanning packages, and communicating with dispatch.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
