As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive their packages on time and in perfect condition. If you have a Class A or B CDL and a passion for driving, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Safe Operation: Operate commercial delivery vehicles (trucks or vans) safely and efficiently on local and regional routes in Memphis, TN.
- Load & Unload: Properly load, secure, and unload cargo, ensuring all packages are accounted for and in good condition.
- Documentation: Verify delivery documents, prepare accurate delivery receipts, and manage proof of delivery logs.
- Maintenance: Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, maintain cleanliness, and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers at the delivery point, resolving any issues with courtesy and efficiency.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Driver's License: Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Driving Record: Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations or DUIs within the last 3-5 years.
- Schedule: Must be available to work Weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50-70 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to use handheld scanning devices and GPS navigation systems.
- Availability: Flexible availability and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
