Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles for time-sensitive deliveries across Jacksonville and surrounding areas
- Verify delivery details, obtain signatures, and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Optimize routes using GPS navigation to maximize efficiency and minimize delays
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and conduct pre/post-trip inspections
- Communicate delivery status and exceptions via company mobile app
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and traffic regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional delivery or commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Jacksonville streets and surrounding areas
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation apps and delivery tracking systems
- Reliable transportation to and from shift locations
- Weekend availability (Sat/Sun) with flexibility during peak seasons
- Pass background check and drug screening
