Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages to designated delivery locations in the Indianapolis metro area.
- Utilize handheld delivery devices to scan, track, and confirm successful deliveries.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies while driving.
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions at the doorstep.
- Inspect vehicle for cleanliness and report any mechanical issues promptly.
- Handle package handling with care to ensure items arrive undamaged.
- Complete daily logs and paperwork accurately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with smartphone technology for navigation and delivery apps.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
