Responsibilities
- Transport packages and documents to designated addresses in Washington DC and surrounding areas with accuracy and care.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols while operating the delivery vehicle.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and resolving delivery issues with a smile.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
- Log deliveries accurately using handheld devices or mobile applications.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior.
- Handle cash or digital payments for COD (Cash on Delivery) orders as required.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no DUIs in the last 3 years).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Proof of vehicle insurance and registration.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and logging.
- Strong time-management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Reliable access to a personal vehicle (or willingness to use company vehicle if available).
