Job Overview:
As a Weekend Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring our packages are delivered safely and on time. You will represent our brand positively and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction with every stop.
Responsibilities
- Safe & Efficient Delivery: Transport packages to designated addresses in Philadelphia and surrounding areas accurately and on time.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the delivery vehicle is in safe operating condition.
- Customer Interaction: Deliver friendly, professional service to customers, including obtaining signatures and handling returns.
- Package Handling: Properly load, unload, and secure packages to prevent damage during transit.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of deliveries and report any delivery exceptions or issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Driver's License: Valid Class C Driver's License required.
- Driving Record: Clean driving record (no recent major violations).
- Vehicle: Access to a reliable, insured vehicle suitable for delivery (or company vehicle provided).
- Technology: Ability to use a smartphone for navigation and digital proof of delivery.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
