Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and goods to designated delivery locations within the Columbus metro area.
- Perform accurate loading and unloading of cargo using proper equipment to ensure safety and prevent damage.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain required signatures upon completion of the drop-off.
- Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining a professional attitude and communication skills.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Handle cash and digital transactions accurately and process receipts promptly.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or standard driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to follow route maps and adhere to schedules.
- Basic computer literacy for logging delivery information and processing paperwork.
- Reliable personal transportation to and from the terminal.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during weekend shifts.
