Responsibilities
- Load, secure, and unload packages safely and efficiently using company-provided vehicles.
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles in various weather conditions and traffic.
- Verify delivery addresses and ensure all items are accounted for before departing.
- Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining a professional demeanor and assisting with package placement.
- Complete daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries and mileage for payroll and compliance.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is preferred but not always required for local routes.
- Must possess a clean driving record with no serious infractions.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Basic computer proficiency for using handheld delivery devices.
- Availability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
