Responsibilities
- Safely deliver packages to residential and commercial customers in a timely manner.
- Load and unload cargo using hand trucks and dollies with proper lifting techniques.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain signatures or proof of delivery.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
- Update delivery status in the company's handheld tracking system.
- Provide exceptional customer service during every stop.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 7 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays as required.
- Basic computer literacy for operating delivery handheld devices.
- Reliable personal transportation to and from the warehouse.
