Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages to residential and commercial locations throughout Philadelphia and surrounding areas.
- Verify delivery addresses and ensure correct package handling to prevent damage.
- Collect payments or obtain digital signatures when required for COD deliveries.
- Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Update delivery status in the company tracking system in real-time.
- Provide exceptional customer service, including assisting with loading heavy items when necessary.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (Class C) with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Access to a reliable, insured personal vehicle suitable for delivery work.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for using navigation and delivery apps.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
