Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses in Fresno
- Verify delivery details and obtain customer signatures for high-value shipments
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and report any route discrepancies or delays
- Inspect vehicles for safety compliance and perform basic maintenance checks
- Provide exceptional customer service with friendly, professional interactions
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient service
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding delivery challenges
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong knowledge of Fresno streets and surrounding areas
- Smartphone proficiency for navigation and delivery tracking apps
- Reliable transportation to and from the distribution center
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Background check and drug test required for employment
