Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and documents to residential and commercial addresses within a designated route.
- Unload freight, organize items, and ensure accuracy of all deliveries.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting clients and handling returns or inquiries professionally.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain a clean and organized personal vehicle and uniform appearance.
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (Class C) with a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Basic computer skills and ability to use handheld devices for logging.
- Strong time management skills to ensure timely deliveries.
- Reliable personal transportation for any pre- or post-shift duties.
