We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Weekend Delivery Driver to join the PrimeX Logistics team in Cleveland, CA. Responsibilities
- Safely Transport Goods: Deliver packages to residential and commercial locations throughout Cleveland and surrounding areas in a timely and efficient manner.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers, handle cash or card payments accurately, and resolve any delivery issues with a positive attitude.
- Load & Unload: Manually load and unload packages from the delivery vehicle, ensuring items are not damaged during transit.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, and any incidents that occur during the shift.
- Route Management: Follow assigned routes efficiently to optimize delivery times and fuel consumption.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License: Must possess a valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills and a friendly demeanor when interacting with the public.
- Technology Proficiency: Comfortable using mobile apps for navigation and proof of delivery.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screening as part of the hiring process.
