Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks and tractor-trailers on designated routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Load and unload cargo using proper handling equipment (forklift, pallet jack).
- Maintain accurate Electronic Logging Device (ELD) records and logs.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, safety protocols, and traffic laws.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse personnel.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) issued by the State of California.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to work flexible night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Strong knowledge of LA area geography and traffic patterns.
- Excellent driving record with no DUI or reckless driving convictions.
