Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on long-haul routes
- Adhere to strict FMCSA regulations and DOT guidelines
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Load/unload cargo with precision using forklifts/dock equipment
- Communicate with dispatch to optimize delivery schedules
- Operate in diverse weather conditions while maintaining safety
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and climb trailer decks
- Proficient with electronic logging devices (ELDs)
- Flexibility for overnight travel and irregular schedules
