Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles, including tractor-trailers and box trucks, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Load and unload cargo, verifying quantities and ensuring proper handling of goods.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Provide exceptional customer service by delivering packages and goods in a timely and professional manner.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and maintain a clean driving record.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B (Commercial Class required).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC).
- Absolutely no DUIs or serious moving violations within the last 3-5 years.
- Strong physical stamina required to lift packages and load/unload cargo.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation and route planning.
