Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential/commercial addresses using company vehicles
- Optimize routes using GPS technology to ensure timely weekend deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures when required
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery issues in real-time
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety protocols during weekend operations
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year delivery or professional driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for GPS and communication apps
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday, 6 AM - 6 PM)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of Charlotte area neighborhoods preferred
