Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (CDL Class B) to deliver freight and packages on assigned routes
- Conduct pre-trip/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Load/unload cargo using manual labor or pallet jacks with precision
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Optimize routes for timely deliveries using GPS technology
- Communicate with dispatch regarding delays or route changes
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class B license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly and operate manual pallet jacks
- Strong time management and navigation skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday shifts 6 AM - 6 PM)
